Healy State School as access to the following specialists, employed by Education Queensland to service the Mount Isa District and Gulf Region schools:

            Physiotherapist

            Occupational Therapist

            Speech and Language Pathologists

            Advisory visiting specialists for vision, hearing and physical impairments

 

These therapists support student's Individual Education Plan (IEP) and educational goals and work collaboratively with school staff and families to provide input into both individual and group programs. They will generally use a combination of assessment consultation and professional development for school staff to support student programs.
